Spending Your Dynamometer Dollars Wisely

1. Be sure the dynamometer fits your application.

Our sales and application engineers can help you with everything from selecting the right dynamometer to designing your test facilities. Our highest priority is making sure you get exactly the equipment or system that you need for your specific application.

2. Thinking new? Consider pre-owned and maximize your purchasing power.

Purchasing a pre-owned dynamometer can save you significant money. DyneSystems maitains an extensive inventory of used Eddy Current, AC and DC dynamometers, ready to be remanufactured, with a One-Year Factory Warranty on parts and labor – or choose the optional Two-Year Warranty.

3. Remanufacturing? Be sure of OEM specifications.

DyneSystems has the sole rights to the original OEM drawings and specifications for Midwest and Dynamatic dynamometers. All parts are either restored to original specifications or completely replaced, enabling us to offer the same one year warranty as new units. An optional two year warranty is available on both new and rebuilt units. No other shop can offer this level of service.

4. Think custom-designed.

We rarely sell a “stock” dynamometer or system. Although there is a standard product list, often some aspect of the application requires customization.

5. Ask the experts.

Our dynamometer team is located in Jackson, Wisconsin, USA. Our educated electrical and mechanical engineers, knowledgeable sales staff, computer professionals, skilled tradesmen, and a specialized machine shop work force combine decades of proven manufacturing craftsmanship with today’s improved, advancing technologies.

6. Minimize downtime…keep your test cell up & running.

We know just how valuable your test cell time is. To keep your dyno running reliably, please check out our tips on Eddy Current dynamometer preventive maintenance. The maintenance guide is an excerpt from our Eddy Current Dynamometer manual, in PDF format for easy printing. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed in order to open the file. Don't have it? 7. Service

When it's time for professional service on controls or dynamometers, remember that we’re committed to completing all repairs or service as thoroughly and quickly as possible.
