The next show where Dyne Systems plans to exhibit will be the Large Electric Motor Users Group Meeting, sponsored by EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute). The meeting dates are August 15-18, with vendor exhibits on Aug. 16-17.

From the event website: The Nuclear Maintenance Applications Center (NMAC) operated by EPRI, announces the Large Electric Motor Users Group (LEMUG) Meeting and Workshop.

Participants are encouraged to come and discuss issues related to application and maintenance of their electric motors. There will also be technical presentations and project plans discussed during this meeting. THIS WILL BE A WORKING MEETING. There will be an Electric Motor Environmental Qualification Workshop on August 15, 2011. The workshop will provide an overview of the practices and measures that should be taken when evaluating motors in “must operate applications”. This workshop will help users understand the issues and practices that affect electric motor qualification.

Professional Development Credits (PDC) will be provided for this workshop.

Who should attend: Maintenance engineers, component engineers, equipment specialists, system engineers, supervisors and personnel providing support in the reliable operation of electric motors.
