The Dyn-Loc single loop digital dynamometer control and DTC-1 digital throttle controller have been industry leaders since 1982. Our latest controller, the multi-loop InterLoc V dyno and throttle control, is an exciting development that offers simultaneous control for any combination of up to three dynamometers or throttles.

The most robust Eddy Current, AC and DC dynamometers available

Both new and used eddy current dynamometers from Midwest & Dynamatic Dynamometers now carry a 2-year OEM warranty.

We are the OEM for the Midwest and Dynamatic eddy current, and Dymond Regenerative AC dynamometer lines. More than 200 available models are rated from 5hp to 6,000hp, so whether you have small engines, large electric turbines, or anything in between, we can help.

Vertical/Horizontal Shaft Testing

Virtually any size Midwest or Dynamatic dynamometer can be configured either vertically or horizontally. However, to accomodate testing of small engines and motors with both vertical and horizontal shaft orientations, DyneSystems provides a compact small engine dynamometer “tilt stand” that locks in the horizontal or vertical positions, with fixtures for mounting and coupling both styles of engines or motors during test. Both new and used eddy current dynos now carry a 2-year factory warranty.

Software designed specifically for dynamometer test automation

The PC-based Cell Assistant™ dyno test automation and control software provides accurate and dependable test data acquisition and control with easily customized on-screen data displays.

If you prefer, you can develop your own control software using popular software packages such as National Instruments LabVIEW® or DyneSystems' Inter-Loc V SDK (Software Developers Kit). The Inter-Loc V multi-loop dynamometer/throttle controller is LabVIEW ® compatible.

Low-cost exhaust gas analysis

The XM-1000 5-Gas Analyzer offers a unique approach to exhaust gas analysis with its compact size and portability. It provides accurate raw sampling analysis of NOx, HC, CO, CO2 and O2 at a fraction of the cost of a certified bench. When used to "pre-test" engines and motors, or for audit testing, it can serve to ease the demand on your certified emissions bench.
