Digitally Controlling Dynamometers and Throttles Since 1982

The Dyn-Loc single loop digital dynamometer control and DTC-1 digital throttle controller have been industry leaders since 1982. The multi-loop InterLoc V dyno and throttle control, is a more recent development that offers simultaneous control for any combination of up to three dynamometers or throttles.

We are the OEM for the Midwest and Dynamatic eddy current, and Dymond Regenerative AC dynamometer lines. More than 200 available models are rated from 5 HP to 6,000 HP, for applications from small motors to large turbines.

Used Eddy Current Dynamometers and Dyno Repair

Your remanufactured eddy current dynamometer, as well as our remanufactured used eddy current dynos, come with a standard 1-year factory warranty, with all parts either replaced or repaired to like-new condition. An optional 2-year warranty is available.

AC Dynamometer and Regenerative Drive Systems

Vertical/Horizontal Shaft Testing

To accomodate testing of small engines and motors with both vertical and horizontal shaft orientations, DyneSystems provides two compact dynamometer “tilt stands” that lock in multiple horizontal or vertical positions, with fixtures for mounting and coupling both styles of engines or motors during test. For larger applications, virtually any size Midwest or Dynamatic dynamometer can be configured either vertically or horizontally.

Data Acquisition with Unlimited Channels

The Companion II Data Acquisition System offers unlimited channels and performs data acquisition, multiplexing and analog to digital conversion of all analog dynamometer test cell device inputs.

Software Designed Specifically for Dynamometer Test Automation

The PC-based Cell Assistantdyno test automation and control software provides accurate and dependable test data acquisition and control with easily customized on-screen data displays.

LabVIEW Compatible

If you prefer, you can develop your own control software using popular software packages such as National Instruments LabVIEW® or DyneSystems' Inter-Loc V SDK (Software Developers Kit). The Inter-Loc V multi-loop dynamometer/throttle controller is LabVIEW® compatible.

Low-cost Exhaust Gas Analysis

The XM-1000 5-Gas Analyzer offers a unique approach to exhaust gas analysis with its compact size and portability. It provides accurate raw sampling analysis of NOx, HC, CO, CO2 and O2 at a fraction of the cost of a certified bench. When used to "pre-test" engines and motors, or for audit testing, it can be moved to where it's needed and ease the demand on your certified emissions bench.
